Mia Bailey – Artist Bio

Singer-songwriter Mia Bailey has been writing music and playing guitar for over 20 years. With a passion for original songwriting and soulful storytelling, Mia brings raw emotion and authenticity to every performance.

“I enjoy writing my own original music and playing guitar—it’s how I express myself.”

She has spent more than a decade performing live and recording original music. In 2014, her talent took her to New York City, where she had the incredible opportunity to support Ghostface Killah of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan.

Based on the Gold Coast, Mia recently graduated with a Master of Music from Griffith University Conservatorium, after previously completing her Bachelor of Music—all while raising her four sons.

“My children and my love for music have been my driving force to never give up and follow my dreams.”

A few years ago, Mia’s journey took a turn when she began experiencing unexplained seizures during sleep. After a long period of uncertainty, she was diagnosed with Nocturnal Epilepsy. Though living with epilepsy presents daily challenges, Mia continues to rise above them—using her music as both healing and expression.

Mia is currently working on her new single, ‘Every Little Thing,’ with producer Guy Cooper of Serotonin Productions. Her upcoming EP, set for release in late October, promises a powerful blend of emotion, experience, and storytelling—a true reflection of her journey through life, motherhood, music, and resilience.
